American Psychiatric Association Foundation (APA Foundation) is a division of the American Psychiatric Association, a world-leading psychiatric organization that now encompasses over 38,500 members practising in more than 100 countries. The APA Foundation’s primary focus is to provide employers with tools, resources and the essential information to promote well-being and support the mental health of employees and their families. Project Scope

The APA Foundation understood that inclusivity wasn't just a checkbox, it was the cornerstone of effective communication and community building. Their vision? A platform that seamlessly blended sleek design and intuitive navigation, welcoming users of all abilities with open arms. Accessibility wasn't an afterthought; it was woven into the very fabric of the platform, ensuring everyone could navigate, engage, and contribute with ease. This, coupled with the ability to scale and evolve, promised a digital space that could grow alongside the diverse needs of its users.

The Solution

Saying goodbye to outdated interfaces and hello to a modern, accessible APA Foundation website! Built with Kentico MVC, this site isn't just visually stunning, it's future-proofed for easier upgrades and complies with WCAG 1.0, Section 508, and eGovernment requirements.

But accessibility goes beyond mere guidelines. Accessible 360's "live user testing" by real people with disabilities ensured features not just meet standards, but actually work for everyone.

Oh, and managing it all has been made even easier thanks to the implementation of a secure single sign-on system.
