Automated Financial Systems, Inc. (AFS) is the global leader in providing commercial lending solutions to top-tier financial institutions. Working with a majority of the world’s 50 largest financial institutions, AFS builds lending processes based on a straight-through model and on-demand technology and services. AFS partners with client banks around the world to understand their organization's strategic goals and work proactively to achieve their business, regulatory, and technology objectives. AFS is headquartered in Exton, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia; its European subsidiary, Automated Financial Systems GmbH, is based in Vienna, Austria.
Project Scope
AFS initially engaged with the i3 Digital team in 2017 via our Kentico Health Check Campaign. They had recently carried out the redesign and rebuild of their website on Kentico CMS. However, upon go-live, they experienced issues with the core CMS installation. The AFS marketing team were tasked with finding a new Kentico Partner to resolve these issues. The new partner would also be responsible for maintaining, supporting and on-going development of the website.
AFS is a global company so it was highly important that their new partner could offer full 24,7/365 support. The AFS team carried out a review of the leading Kentico Gold Partners who had experience of delivering solutions for globally focused businesses and organizations. They liked the accomplishments that the i3 team had achieved with Kentico and were enamored that a Kentico Partner could provide an in-depth Health Check on their website.
AFS overarching objectives centred around a technical upgrade plus the carrying out of a range of custom enhancements to their existing Kentico CMS platform to meet their promotional and marketing needs globally. Including a redesign of the site, with a focus on delivering an outstanding user experience to potential customers. The new design had to be responsive, clear, concise, and engage with potential customers. It also needed to be on brand and reflect AFS global standing as an industry leader in lending and risk management solutions for financial institutions.
What we Delivered
The team at i3 Digital delivered a design refresh of Automated Financial Systems Inc. (AFSVision ®), corporate website. The project included delivering a modern, fresh new design which required the build of a range of custom page templates, plus the upgrade of the website’s core Kentico CMS from version 9 to version 11.
The Build
i3 Digital worked closely with AFSVision ® to ensure that all aspects of the new website are GDPR complaint. Web parts and widgets were used to build up the page templates, and Kentico Forms were used to provide a range of customer contact forms. i3 Digital also provided a range of other services, including the restructuring and responsive rebuild of website front-end.
The Result
i3 Digital’s UX team created a highly engaging, visually appealing, mobile responsive corporate website that promotes AFSVision's ® wide range of financial products, solutions and services globally. The new website is easy to navigate, with a strong emphasis on AFSVision's ® key products, systems and services. The site incorporates clear ‘call to actions’ and ‘hero’ panels to funnel and drive prospective customers to relevant and pertinent information.
The marketing team at AFSVision ® now have an intuitive, easy to use, highly secure and GDPR compliant website that now facilitates true engagement with target customers in lending markets globally.
We chose i3 Digital as a partner to help support our existing website and to grow it into the future and we have not been disappointed with our choice. They recently worked closely with us and within our budget to refresh the design of our website and fix coding issues that came with our legacy development and we are very pleased with the results.
