Redwood Bank initially launched in August 2017 with a view to offering a real alternative for small and medium-sized organisations looking to make sure that their properties & cash work harder for them. As a Challenger Bank Redwood’s purpose is to meet the funding needs of both small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and individual property investors. The Bank prides itself on offering simple, transparent, and time-conscious business solutions to its customers.

As a digital-only bank, Redwood Bank's website is central to servicing existing and potential customer needs. Allowing them to access information on and apply in real-time for loans, savings, and mortgage products. Existing customers have access to their online banking with a range of services available. The website also acts as an information hub providing news, information, and resources for customers, brokers, and key stakeholders.

The project's overarching objective was to future-proof Redwood Bank's website by rebuilding it on a flexible digital experience platform with integrated marketing capabilities. Redwood Bank already had experience with Kentico 12 CMS and felt that Kentico Xperience version 13 was the right solution going forward. Now they had to decide on the right partner. After an extensive vetting, interview, and pitch process Redwood Bank decided that the team from i3 Digital had the right skills and experience to take them on the next step of their digital journey with Kentico.

Redwood Bank chose Kentico Xperience version 13 for the rebuild of their website as the platform is highly secure, optimised for speed of delivery, and provides a range of GDPR models to meet compliance standards. It further helped that the team at i3 Digital has developed a highly accessible and fluid responsive front-end framework that has been integrated with Kentico Xperience. Our framework encompasses all key accessibility features to assist in achieving ADA and WCAG 2.1 (AA) Level compliance. Thus, allowing Redwood Bank to meet and embrace all customers no matter what their needs or disability.

The website has been further future-proofed by delivering on the latest Kentico Core development model, which is built on the Microsoft “ASP.NET Core” framework. This will ensure future compatibility with next-generation platforms.

Adrian Bradley, CEO & Founder of i3 Digital stated:
